You have a very special Gift, a talent that is beyond words.

To give you some history/context, I was 22, Bailey was born and we had absolutely no idea what was happening. That moment when you witness your first born child enter this world is meant to be an unforgettable experience, for me it certainly was that!

I remember it like yesterday, I shared the most amazing 17 days with him, he was never alone, he was always held by one of us to comfort him and help settle him, I was there for him during his last breaths!

He was born with a condition called Trisomy 13, or Patau Syndrome, which in itself is amazing he was born alive at all as it is one of 2 syndromes that are not compatible with life.

He really did live a very short life but also very painful one in more ways than one.

I do only have the one photo of him after I left my Ex Wife, and to be honest it pains me to look at it as I can see and recall the trauma he went through, Doctors and Students were all wanting to see him and try and open his eyes etc. they bruised him so bad from day one that any and every photo shows this. (Hence why I have never shown anyone a picture of him)

You have absolutely nailed this, you have looked beyond the bruising and pain and made him look content, settled and at peace (where he is a now)….my god Thank you!!

When your email came through this afternoon, I had tears In my eyes this when I got to see the finished piece, despite his lip, he is my other 2 sons when they were born!

I will hang this Masterpiece very proudly in my home (Thanks to your special Talent and gift)

Col was amazing to deal with in a delicate situation. She was able to work with a couple of pictures to capture the magic and beauty of gorgeous Ella. We have now had 2 portraits painted by Col for our 2 oldest daughters and are on her books for our 3rd daughter. The detail and the pure essence that Col captured in the recent portrait that she did for our middle daughter showed her cheeky personality and deep dark eyes. The whole process was seamless and I loved that we were sent updates throughout so there was options for changes if I wanted.

We can’t thank n you enough for the beautiful keepsakes you have created of our girls and can’t wait to have our final one started this year.

I’ve looked at my daughter’s pictures so many times, they are imprinted in my soul. It’s heartbreaking knowing there will never be a new image of Eva. Yet, Col has provided that for us. After seeing the magical prints she painted of my friends’ daughters, I knew this was the perfect way to celebrate our precious girl’s seventh birthday last year.

Col made sure every detail I wanted was included, and listened with a few other suggestions. She was compassionate and so easy to work with. I also appreciate her detailed updates while she was working on the print.

I didn’t show Eva's father until it arrived, he was stunned in the best way. Thank you dear Col for capturing the essence of our beloved daughter. Even though no one else can see her, we are forever connected, she lives in our hearts every day.
