Intellectual Property
All designs on this website are protected by Australian and International Copyright Laws. Use of this site and its contents grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trade marks and all other intellectual property relating to the products and any other items on this site.
You are permitted to use the items on social media ONLY if each item is prominently credited to One Sonny Day in which event the reproduction needs to be in the same quality as that which appears on this website and in no way altered.
Pricing
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars. One Sonny Day reserve the right to change prices at any time.
Portraits
During the custom portrait process you will receive two approval points – at drawing stage to approve the face and at final paint stage to approve the final piece. Once approvals have been given there will be no refunds.
Where a deposit is required upfront to book your drawing and painting it will be non-refundable. If for some reason you are unable to progress, you must notify us within 24 hours of paying the deposit to receive a refund. After this point the deposit is non-refundable as you are taking someone else’s position on our books.
Once drawing approvals are issued there will be no refunds of monies paid to this point. The final portrait will not be posted until final payment is received.
All portraits must be booked within the current waitlist period which is generally up to 12 months from the time of receiving the deposit. If you wish to delay your booking longer than 12 months for any reason, then this is at the discretion of One Sonny Day and you may forfeit your deposit.
Postage
All portraits are sent via registered mail with Australia Post. They are packaged safely to prevent items from being damaged in transit. Once your order has been shipped, One Sonny Day can accept no responsibility for loss or any damage to your package.
One Sonny Day takes no responsibility if an item does not arrive to you in the time if needed for a gift or birthday.
One Sonny Day offers international shipping for portraits. Orders are sent by tracked shipping. The customer is responsible for all customs/duties fees, if applicable.
You will be emailed once your artwork has been sent. It is your responsibility to let us know that it has not arrived within 14 days to ensure it can be tracked down. If anything is wrong with the artwork, you need to notify us within three days of receipt of goods and return goods to us within 10 days and we will organise a replacement for you. Items must be unused and in original packaging with packaging intact. Please notify us by email at admin@onesonnyday.com.au stating item details and providing photos.
Subscriptions
Letters are posted Worldwide from Australia on the 19th of each month. If you subscribe between the 13th- 31st, your first love letter will be posted on the 1st of the month.
After placing an order, you’ll receive an email confirming the details. Please double-check that your shipping address is accurate and notify us right away if any corrections are needed. If an error in the address was made at checkout and your letter(s) have already been mailed, we cannot offer a refund for those items. However, as a one-time courtesy, we will resend up to 2 letters to the correct address.
Letters are sent using standard, non-tracked postal services. Estimated delivery times can be found on our FAQ page. If your letter hasn’t arrived within one week of the expected delivery timeframe, please reach out to admin@onesonnyday.com.au. In cases of lost, stolen, or damaged letters, we will promptly arrange a replacement for you.
When you sign up for a subscription, you’ll receive monthly letter deliveries based on the duration you choose: Monthly, 6-Month, or Annual options. All subscriptions have a maximum term of 12 months, after which they will end automatically.
Your payment information will be stored securely, and charges will apply at the frequency of your selected plan. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless you let me know otherwise. To prevent your subscription from renewing, please cancel it before the renewal date or reach out to admin@onesonnyday.com.au. Once canceled, any remaining letters in your current term will still be sent, but no new term will start.
Your order confirmation email includes links to your order, where you can manage your subscription. You can also log in through our website’s main menu to make adjustments or simply email admin@onesonnyday.com.au to complete it for you.
Contact Information
By joining the waitlist or placing an order with One Sonny Day, you give us the authority to contact you in the future with any newsletters and new product updates. You will be able to opt out of this correspondence upon receipt.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. All information collected is only used for the purpose of processing your order. We will never give out or sell any of your information to a third party, or record any transaction details. Please refer to the Privacy policy below for more information.

REFUND POLICY
We hope you love your order from us. Unfortunately we do not currently offer returns for change of mind or if you provide us with the wrong information for your order. Please contact us within 5 days if you have any issues with your product on arrival, if any items arrive damaged or if you believe the order is not as described on our website. We can then organise an exchange or refund.
After 11 years and 1000’s of portraits posted all over the world, we have NEVER had to replace or refund one from damage or being lost in the mail. All portraits are packaged securely and require a signature on delivery.
After1000's of letters, we have only ever had one letter not arrive and was resent free of charge.
SHIPPING POLICY
We ship from Australia.
All prices on this site are in ($AUD) Australian Dollars.
If you need your order quickly, please leave a note at checkout or email admin@onesonnyday.com.au. If you have a query regarding your order please reach out to us at admin@onesonnyday.com.au. Please note that Express is no longer guaranteed next day delivery with Australia Post. Once orders are shipped we cannot guarantee delivery times with Australia Post.
One Sonny Day will not be held responsible for any incorrect or old shipping addresses used. Please check your shipping address at checkout. If you use ShopPay to pay for your items, please ensure you use the correct saved address.
If you have a subscription and need to change your address, simply send us an email at admin@onesonnyday.com.au and we will update it for you.
Pre-Orders: If you order a product that is a pre-order, all items will be shipped together once the pre-order item arrives. If you would like some of your order earlier, please place two seperate orders.
Domestic / Australian Shipping
All orders will be shipped via Australia Post. Portraits are sent using registered mail with a signature on delivery to ensure it arrives to you safely. Please note, after 11 years and 1000’s of portraits posted all over the world, we have NEVER had to replace or refund one from damage or being lost in the mail.
Subscription letters are posted on the 19th of the month and on the 1st for new subscribers. Letters usually arrive within 2 weeks however they can take up to 4 weeks to arrive in Australia and 6 weeks internationally. Please contact us if you have been waiting more than 3 weeks and we will arrange a replacement letter for you, free of charge.
We cannot be held responsible for delays through Australia Post. If you are experiencing an issue with your delivery, please contact us and we will help you work with Australia Post to resolve the issue.
Free Shipping: Free standard shipping in Australia over $195. Free shipping can not be used with any further discounts. Free shipping minimum will only be met after any other discounts are applied.
Express Shipping
Express Postage is $19.95 in Australia. This is to cover the cost of express shipping. This is not a priority service and you will still need to allow 3-7 days. Letters are $10.95. We can not be responsible for Aus Post delivery times.
International Shipping
Letters are shipped worldwide. They do not have tracking and can take 6-8 weeks to arrive depending on your location. If it has been 8 weeks since the letter has been posted and it still hasn’t arrived, please contact us to arrange another letter to be posted to you free of charge.
Portraits are shipped worldwide. Australia Post use Universal tracking numbers. You can use the tracking number in your own country's postal service provider tracking (i.e: USPS for USA). Once your item arrives in your own country, please use your own country's postal service to track orders. Once an item leaves Australia and gets passed over from AusPost to your local carrier, AusPost can no longer keep track of the order.
If your order is taking longer than expected once it arrives in your own country, please contact your local carrier and please contact us with any issues.

Unclaimed items
Please keep an eye on your tracking. If your order is unclaimed and returned to us, we will only refund your order minus the shipping fee. If you received free shipping, our standard $10.95 shipping cost will be excluded from your refund. We also reserve the right to charge the customer for any return postage charges for unclaimed items.
Duties and Taxes
For international orders, it is your responsibility to know if you will be charged taxes by ordering goods into your country from another country. Many countries now charge taxes on imported products, in a bid to encourage people to purchase within their own country. If we send an item to you and you refuse to pay the taxes and the item is returned, we will not be liable to refund the shipping costs to you or any costs to have the product returned to us. If we receive the item back we will refund the purchase amount minus the shipping costs, but only if the items are returned in the same condition. Please note if an item is returned to us, we have to pay the return postage, so we will have to pass this cost on to you (i.e we will minus the cost of return postage from your refund)
International Customs
Your order will be subject to customs processing if you are ordering from outside of Australia. It is your responsibility to complete any and all customs documentation to receive your item. If you do not fill in the necessary paper work and your item is unclaimed, the 'Unclaimed Items' policy above stands.
