Meticulously Hand Embossed
It's a technique dating back to the 1400s. I press plates and delicate pieces of European antique lace into luxurious French paper, creating a stunning, tactile impression – a truly exquisite fusion of textures.
Using a traditional printing press in my Brisbane studio, I bring out the beauty in simplicity, adding an extra layer of depth and intricacy to each piece. Over the past decade, this has become the One Sonny Day signature.
